Throughout Q3 2021, the performance of the top 5 Maps and Navigation applications on a unified platform in the United States showed diverse trends. Below is a detailed look at the weekly downloads and active users for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a consistent download rate, averaging around 400K weekly downloads, peaking at 442K in mid-August. Active users fluctuated slightly, with a high of approximately 10.3M at the end of August, before settling around 9.6M by the end of September.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a decline in weekly downloads from 354K at the beginning of July to 231K by the end of September. Active users also showed a downward trend, starting at 12.5M in late June and ending at around 11.9M in late September.
